Is concrete better than asphalt for a driveway?

Unlike asphalt, or tar, concrete can resist weathering actions, and also is able to be  more resilient towards chemical stains like motor oil. Concrete is also more resistant to for and humidity as it has such small, or no amounts, of organic content.
